Qualifications and Clinical Experience
I completed my Bachelor of psychology with first class honours and Master of clinical psychology at the University of New England (UNE) in Armidale NSW. During my clinical placements, I worked in a variety of clinical settings including the Coffs Harbour Inpatient Mental Health Unit, Tamworth Community Health, and the UNE psychology clinic.
I then worked in group psychology practices on the mid-north coast of NSW (Port Macquarie and Taree) over six years, enjoying a wide variety of clinical work including educational assessments, medico-legal and therapeutic work. I work mainly with adults and adolescents. I am particularly interested in anxiety disorders and behavioural addictions.
2015 I established NewPath Psychology Services in response to a growing
need in the local community for accessible psychology services.
I am a 10-year member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), and the APS College of Clinical Psychologists. I am registered as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), with an area of practice endorsement in clinical psychology.
